Structure & Sense takes its name from a theoretical conviction: that the rational structures of modern life — organizations, technologies, institutions, scientific practice — are not merely external arrangements but the conditions through which meaning becomes possible or foreclosed.

The journal publishes social scientific and humanistic work that investigates this relationship, with particular interest in contributions from early career scholars.
